The app won't let me past the waiver screen

Why the Documents page shows a waiver that blocks access and how to complete, re-sign, or escalate it.

You signed in to the member portal and the app is keeping you on the Documents page, or you can see a waiver that is required before you can train. Here is what causes this and how to fix it.

Why this happens

The gym requires all active members to have a current, signed waiver on file before they can attend classes. The portal blocks access to training-related features until the waiver is completed. There are three possible states:

| Badge shown | Meaning | |---|---| | Amber Action needed | A waiver is unsigned and has not yet been signed | | Red Expired | A previously signed waiver has expired and needs re-signing | | (No badge) | A new version of a waiver was published; the old signature no longer counts |

How to sign or re-sign

  1. Go to Docs in the bottom navigation.
  2. In the Waivers section, find the waiver with an Action needed or Expired badge.
  3. Select View & Sign.
  4. Scroll through the full waiver text.
  5. Tick I have read and agree to the above.
  6. Select Sign.

After signing, the badge changes to green Signed and the portal checklist updates.

Guardians: signing for a child

If your account manages children, each child may have their own waiver requirement. Use the account switcher in the header (or the Family action queue card on the Documents page) to switch to the relevant child and sign on their behalf.

You may be required to sign as the guardian rather than the child — the waiver form will indicate this.

Nothing appears, but access is still blocked

If the Waivers section is empty and the checklist still shows outstanding steps, the remaining step may be the Health questionnaire, not a waiver. Check the Training readiness card — if Health questionnaire shows Action needed, complete that first. See Complete your health questionnaire.

Still can't get past the screen

Contact your gym. The gym team can:

  • Confirm which document is outstanding
  • Check whether a guardian co-signature is required
  • Manually review your waiver status if a system issue has occurred
